Da boss

I saw Bruce Springsteen last night. It was his one-man acoustic show. I have to say, he was awesome. Considering he played the ACC, it was still a really intimate show. The staging was simple and nicely lit. Entrances were blocked during numbers, to prevent foot traffic from disrupting the performance.

The last two numbers were a bit weak. There were a couple of technical glitches in the last number, which made an already boring song that much worse.

Overall the show was amazing though. He really belt it out, it was a nice opportunity to actually hear (and hopefully) listen to the lyrics, which ranged from Iraq to Jersey, with a bit of love and blood in between.

The two girls bouncing happily to Devil's & Dust clearly had not listened to the lyrics. They were a prime examples of the "Born in the USA" misunderstanding.
