There has been quite a bit of discussion online about the new garbage/recycling/advertising bins that the city has proposed. There are currently 57 EcoBins and 82 MegaBins in the city on a test.
The new bins are equiped with six containers for different types of trash. I don't know about you, but I always have to take a second to determine which of the three I need to deposit my garbage into, think about six! My guess, is more people will not bother looking and just drop it in the first hole they see.
The thing about the new bins is that they are HUGE, 7 foot x 5 foot x 2! You can check one out at one of these locations in the city, then let the powers that be your thoughts about them.
They will be deciding soon whether they stay or go. It's up to you to vote.
