Help!


My computer has fallen and it can't get up!

My computer died on the weekend. I knew the day was coming, but I wasn't prepared. Everything was backed up to my external (just in case), but still it sucks.

Even bigger news is that I think I'm ready to swing for the other team. No, I have not "gone gay". I think I might be ready to go Mac (to many of you, that's more shocking!). I'm trying to decide. I'm looking for your insight here.

I need lots of storage, lots of Ram. I don't care if the system is used, as long as it's solid. I'd prefer a tower/box, rather than everything compressed. This way I can upgrade her when she needs upgrading.

Everything I have is PC, but I understand that most USB plug n' play stuff will work with most newer Macs. Is that true?

So what do you think everyone?
Where should I buy a decent computer? Ebay? Toronto shops? at a decent price!!! Note, the price is key here too!
