I was just reading a fellow blogger's post about being under the weather. I'm feeling a bit that way myself today. It got me thinking about the best remedy for the common cold. Thank god I happen to have Live Ireland on at the moment...it helped me remember what we would always drink in Galway when a cold was coming on. Hot Whiskey.
The recipe is simple:
1 oz Jameson Whiskey
juice from one lemon
a couple table spoons of sugar (to taste)
add a few cloves
Add some boiling water to the cup and enjoy.
You'll be as right as rain in no time!
