This decrepit, abandoned pub located in Glasgow, Scotland has turned out to be the childhood home of Sir John A Macdonald! www.eveningtimes.co.uk/hi/news/5040859.html

The good news is, the pub is on property owned by Canadian billionaire, Galen Weston. The bad news is, it has been approved to be demolished to build a shopping centre!

"Save my childhood home!"

If this means anything to you - as a Canadian - and it should!
Send an email to: Customer_Service@weston.ca
and let them know, that you will not be shopping at, or buying products from: Neilson, Weston, Stroehmann, Maplehurst, Arnie's Bagels, Interbake Foods, Zehrs, No Frills, Loblaws, Frovinos, Atlantic Superstores, Real Canadian Superstore, DrugStore Pharmacies; until this matter is dealt with. The building should be renovated into a Canadian/Scottish heritage centre.

Out of respect for our history, let them know how you feel.

You can find out more about Weston here: www.weston.ca
