I telephoned a Second Cup yesterday at Harbourfront to see if they had Wifi, as some locations do. The young girl who answered asked me what Wifi was. When I explained she said, 'Oh sure we do!'.
I should have known better. I made my way there on my lunch break, bought my coffee, and set up my laptop. Nothing...I asked the woman working and she said they didn't have it. Doh.
I pulled up a bench in front of the Starbucks across the street, with my Second Cup coffee in hand...I'm surprised they didn't run and shoo me off! I flipped open the laptop and nothing.
Does anyone know of Wifi hotspots downtown? It would be great to create an active list of prime locations for free Internet access.
Please let me know if you know of any. Thanks.
